I'm always the one on the other side of the lense. I kind of like it that way. But every once in a while, someone (like my mom) coerces me.
So, These are photos from Project Sleepover. Alissa is amazing and has this house and parents who go out of town a lot. Dinner took a lot longer to make than we expected, but I think it was worth it, and a lot of fun as well.
So this is a pretty poor quality photo... but there is something about it that still draws in me. I like the soft, thoughtful aspect of Katie's face. There is drama and depth even if I screwed up the aperture.
I heart this photo. Crisp, clean, nice angle on Ashley's face. She's a pretty one, isn't she?
Katie says this is a "Mark Picture"... and by that she means I tricked her into laughing and then clicked the shutter and Mark often takes "candid shots" of her looking pretty ridiculous. He is the self-proclaimed worst Katie photographer ever. My candid came out sweet though, so *hah*
Alissa, don't go back to Tulane... stay here and knit us things, and help us make t-shirts and dinner party-sleepovers.
After dinner we all played Clue, and I'm not too hott for board games so I was thinking of other ridiculous things, and I had to constantly fight the urge to sing out "Someone's in the kitchen with Dina... someone's in the kitchen I know-oh-oh-oh.." but instead swap out Dina for Scarlet. A+ for self control.

Nothing says welcome to college like a pile of phonebooks

Swing Hugs are the best kinds of hugs. Exhilerating, scary, and amazing all in one dizzying moment.

Shake it like a shaggy little puppy

So...once upon a time, RHA planned a St. Patrick's Day program, but it must have been years ago because TU has had spring break over that date for years. Anyway... we found party paraphernalia in the closet while we were cleaning, so we decided to have a wee little Irish festival in the cafeteria.

This is from The World's Largest Finger Painting Day in September. My favorite part of this picture is Raye's pretty white pearls.

That's what your mom said.

When I look at this picture I half expect it to suddenly ripple like water and turn into a portal in which you can view the crazy, happy thought that looks to be on Mark's face.

It's ok, you're not alone. I wanted to jump her as well.

Jamilio and Katie, two of the sweetest pieces in my pie.

Who else grew up with "Danny The Dinosaur"? It's definitely one of my favorites.

This photo was taken at like 2:30 in the morning during one of Katie and I's frequent sleep procrastinating heart to hearts. She was wrapped in my down blanket and probably consoling me about school or boys or money... you know how it goes, One can never have all three at once.

My darling Annavu just before I left for Tulsa.

So, when I look at this picture I think about the infamous "Timeline" and how many times over the past 5 months I have thought about it, doubted it, hoped for it. I think about that if it is accurate, how differently it has played out than we schemed in our heads. And how, parts of it I like better than I dreamed, and how sadly I am still waiting for some things to actualize.

Before they finish filling in the holes all over campus, I would still kind of like to take a picture of Creepy John Mabee on the construction equipment.

So, Katie and I ragged on Stephen for organizing this event on the "wrong" date and fired him about eleventy billion times for making us miss the Hanson documentary showcase in order to come to Twin Towers Tonight and see him and other boys play guitars. But then, we went, and our faces were rocked off, and it was fantastic, and we loved it. So, we hired him back with extra benefits and a bonus vacation package. Sorry Taylor Hanson, but Stephen Cagle brings the rock.

Bella Pirates

Where do you get off, being so drop dead gorgeous Josh Berman? I mean, honestly.

The TU delegation, so hott my friends, so darn hott.

Jeremy The Pirate

Aileen, Josh, Katie at SWACURCH 2005. Gorgeous kids, eh no?

Bella and Josh at Katie's birthday. She's a Twenty Year Old Girl now. It's a silly picture of me, and a pretty cute one of that other One.

Jamilio is my favorite. He found out about my secret disapointment in having not jumped in any leaf piles this fall, so he took me on an adventure to make and jump in a massive leaf pile.

This is us gearing up for our free fall

Bellas are for fall time adventures.

There were more leaves than I am tall

He's a cutie, now isn't he?

Some leaves attacked me, did you know?

Bella Bowling. I found this one Facebook. I'm not even on facebook, but my picture is, so that's not weird or slightly creeping me out, or anything.
